If you don't see beyond the natural, you will waste your energy on the wrong enemy!
Too many of us are fighting the wrong enemy and using the wrong weapons..."for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We spend way to much time fighting battles in our minds that were not meant for us to fight.
We see that in praise and worship, we shut the mouth of the enemy. "Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings we are ordained strength to still (or shut) the mouth of the enemy and the avenger" (Psalm 8:2). "For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and the avenger" (Psalm 44:16).
The enemy speaks into our ears and, we let him into our thoughts, we open a door for him to enter...shut him up! Worship your Lord. "But God hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty" (1 Corinthians 1:27). I love it every time I see the word "WEAK" because that is us, we are weak...Yeah!! That means to say: 'those of us who put our strength in HIM, Christ Jesus, "He fights our battles" "He is our strength"'. Pray in "His Will". His will is the Word of God. Quote God's word. I do not desire to quote men of this world, but God's word. It is what heals and gives life to those in need. "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory" (1Corinthians 2:7).
What a mighty God we serve! God is faithful, "by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord" (1 Corinthians 1:9).
I desire for you to walk in His love and His glory that you may be a light to ALL men. This is a time when we need to see clearly and draw a line in the sand and not waste time fighting the wrong enemy. Don't ever be thrown off by the things of this world.. see beyond the natural and look at who your real enemy is.
You are greatly loved, may you show His love to all men everywhere you go. "Beloved let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is Love" (1 John 4:7-8).
Much love and strength in Him who made you.
Love, Pastor Cindi
